Volunteers are a very important part of the Recreation Center operation.

We rely on volunteers to fill in at the front reception desk, allowing us to keep the lifeguards on the pool deck when staffing is low. A usual shift is 2 1/2 hours, and involves greeting patrons, and providing help where needed. We will provide training and great working conditions.

We are partners with RSVP, and in some cases, travel expenses can be reimbursed through this program.
